God continues to prove faithful as we seek to best meet the growing needs of the greater Muskegon community. Thanks to His provision through generous ministry partners, we are very close to meeting our goal of having the entire Laketon facility expansion completely funded before we begin construction.
We hope to break ground by April 1, 2010 or whenever the ground begins to thaw in Muskegon.

In addition to housing our life-changing Discipleship Program for men, the renovated facility also will:

•Enlarge our dining area to accommodate 120 men, women and children in need of nourishing meals and provide a more welcoming environment to all of our guests.

•Expand our emergency shelter for men to 46 beds, 16 more than we currently have.

•Effectively house community outreach programs including our food pantry, back-to-school clothing giveaway and annual Christmas Toy drive.

Another important addition includes a much-needed After-Care Program for our Discipleship Program graduates. Here, they will receive accountability and guidance as they transition back into society, save money and find stable, permanent housing.
