Abou the Muskegon Rescue Mission

We need your help to reach the finish line! The building is up and we have moved in, but we need your help to furnish the inside. Your church, small group or family can make a real difference by sponsoring any of the items in the brochure below. Every gift, big or small, will help us reach the finish line! Contact Kevin Newton or Dan Skoglund at 231-727-6090 for information on organizing a group project, scheduling a tour, having a mission representative speak to your group or updates on the items that have been sponsored.

In addition to housing our life-changing Discipleship Program for men, the renovated facility also will:

-Enlarge our dining area to accommodate 120 men, women and children in need of nourishing meals
and provide a more welcoming environment to all of our guests.

-Expand our emergency shelter for men to 46 beds, 16 more than we currently have.

-Effectively house community outreach programs including our food pantry, back-to-school clothing
giveaway and annual Christmas Toy drive.

Another important addition includes a much-needed After-Care Program for our Discipleship Program graduates. Here, they will receive accountability and guidance as they transition back into society, save money and find stable, permanent housing.
