Our Mission:
“We exist to demonstrate and proclaim God’s love

to the less fortunate and homeless people of West Michigan.”

Thanks for giving them a fresh start.

Sarah and her children came to the Women’s and Children’s shelter looking for a safe place to stay.  With your support, the Mission was able to provide meals, housing, clothes, as well as counseling and job training.  Sarah has moved into her own apartment, as well as received emotional support and training towards a career.  Sarah said “I am very grateful for the Muskegon Rescue Mission, we came here with a couple of bags and now we have so much more. We were given a completely fresh start.”

Learning how to Change.

18 years old sounds like too young of an age for a kid to come to Muskegon Rescue Mission.  Yet, that’s the situation Jerry found himself in two years ago.  Jerry is now on stable footing and is eager to finish his education and pursue work in computers.   Thanks to God’s working through fellow residents, as well as you, Jerry has become more than a good guy; he’s become a man of God.

Supporting Services:

  • 52 Bed Laketon Avenue Facility
  • Money Management Program
  • Spiritual & Life-Skills Counseling
  • Clothing and Special Needs Assistance
  • Job Search & Referral Program

Our heartfelt thanks to our donors and volunteers for their faithful support.  Your help in caring for the less fortunate and the homeless is essential to our ministry.
