The Muskegon's Women and Children's Shelter helps break the cycle of homelessness that ravages families. Since 1993, the Women and Children's Shelter has provided not only a warm safe place to sleep, but Christian counsel, relocation assistance and life-skills classes.

Many women and children come to the shelter without hope. Mission staff offer the most basic personal assistance with the goal of introducing clients to Christ and fostering healthy self-sufficient families.

Chapel Services
For nearly a century, Chapel Services have been a foundational ministry of the Mission. God's Word is transforming lives as it is faithfully presented by qualified volunteers from local churches.

We are thankful to our donors, because we cannot do the work without the support and donations from our donors.

Supporting the Process:

• 68 Bed Peck Street Facility
• Money Management Program
• Spiritual Classes & Counseling
• Life-Skills & Parenting Classes
• Clothing & Special Needs Assistance
• Relocation Assistance
• Children's Camping Programs
• Mentoring & Tutoring for Children

The Men's Mission, located at 400 W. Laketon, is looking for a spirtual awakening this year. We are focused on improving our Discipleship Program and our shelter care, as well as insuring that every man who comes to the Mission will hear a clear presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

At the Men's shelter we offer emergency services that includes food, shelter, clothing and job placement assistance to adult men. These services are often the first contact they have with Muskegon Rescue Mission. From the moment an individual enters our doors, he is moved toward independence through the requiring of gainful employment and participation in the Mission's Money Management Program.

I hope as you read through our website you will be informed and inspired enough to share in the work of the Men's Mission at Muskegon Rescue Mission.
