 Welcome to Our Staff Page

A native of Muskegon, Carla Skoglund has been a Rescue Mission Board member since 1994. Formerly she was the administrator of Mercy General Surgical Unit. Carla has served as Executive Director of the Muskegon Rescue Mission since 2000.

Rev. Joe Galy
Director of Ministries & Facilities
Joe has become one of our senior staff members with nearly 20 years experience in the ministry of rescue. He is responsible for overseeing the physical condition of three buildings as well as promoting and evaluating the various ministries carried on at the Mission.

A graduate of Western Michigan University, Jim comes to the mission with 13 years of financial experience. A native of Muskegon, Jim counts it an honor to have a position where what you do makes a difference in the lives of those in need. He is excited to know that when he comes in to work it is in a Christian environment.
